Got Milk?

Every breastfeeding mom would prefer comfortable lactation or “milk expression”. Through extensive research and testing, Símplísse has developed a revolutionary milk expression experience unlike any other that closely, and comfortably, simulates the way baby elicits milk during breastfeeding. In fact, this system is so gentle and different, many moms don’t even realize that it is working when they first try it.

Critical in this project was the development of a system that delivers this comfort, while engaging the customer at retail, being consistent with the aesthetic sensibilities and sensitivities AND while providing everything that is required for this total process . . . and in a “package” that is easy to use, easy to handle and transport [for use at home, in the office and other public places like restrooms], and provides the necessary style and discretion the user needs and wants.

The client worked with consultants in the areas of lactation, mechanical and electrical design. fredsparks was tasked with developing the aesthetic and graphic design to provide this mechanical solution for non-compression means of extraction while creating a brand strategy that meets all the users’ needs. The electronic housing provides the simple-to-use controls and interactions to maximize the user’s experience. All the components fit neatly in the included tote bag that was developed to enable easy transport, yet simple functionality in a variety of settings including home, office, public restrooms, etc.
